Behind the Brand

I'm Joy, the founder and designer behind Pearl Society. What started as a love of travel, shorelines, and collecting beautiful things eventually led me here - to creating a jewelry brand rooted in the coast and crafted with a signature aesthetic. I spent over ten years in the fashion industry as a buyer and merchandiser for brands like Giorgio Armani and Ralph Lauren before leaving the corporate world to build something of my own.

It started with Nantucket. When I arrived in 2020, something clicked and I never quite got over it - the light, the salt air, the way everything feels both laid-back and impossibly chic. The island has been my greatest source of inspiration - but so have so many of the beaches I've loved, from the Caribbean to the Greek Islands.

Designed for the woman who travels well, feels most herself near the ocean, and reaches for jewelry that makes every destination feel a little more special. Coastal and girly, playful and chic. Each piece is handmade by me on Nantucket and in Connecticut. Welcome to the society.
